Local Health Departments (LHD) National Coalition for Health Equity [NACCHO: 03.08]
CommonHealth ACTION provided program design, facilitation, writing/editing, and integrated meeting services to the National Association for County and City Health Officials for the Local Health Department (LHD) Coalition Health Equity. The goal of this initiative is to create a learning community dedicated to building a permanent coalition and campaign for health equity in order to a) strengthen organizational influence and capacity of local public health in the elimination of health inequity and b) institutionalize and legitimize action to achieve health equity.
