HP2020: Building the Commonwealth’s Capacity to Address Determinants of Health [Virginia Department of Health: 08.09 to present]

CommonHealth ACTION is designing a curriculum and a learning framework for the Virginia Department of Health that advances the Commonwealth’s capacity to address determinants of health to promote health equity across the lifespan.  We will infuse adult education learning principles and will employ a mixture of didactic and experiential dialogue to facilitate maximum perspective transformation of health promotion concepts. In support of this perspective, the framework described herein will utilize a train-the-trainer methodology to facilitate maximum sustainability, utilizing the nationwide HP2020 framework, with which CHA staff has had many years of experience.
