Using Geographic Information Technology to Analyze Public Health Issues

The Institute for Public Health Innovation is a founding member of the Region Forward Coalition, which will provide new cross-cutting regional policy capacity when advising the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Board on future Region Forward projects and initiatives. Region Forward is a blueprint for a more accessible, sustainable, prosperous, and livable National Capital Region that has been individually endorsed by all 21 of the region's local governments. The Region Forward Coalition includes members from public, private, and nonprofit sectors which all have a role in helping the Region meet its goals outlined in Region Forward.
